About Convention

The 2011 Vermont State Square and Round Dance Convention will be held May 21st, 2011, 10:00 am to 10:30 pm at Barre Town School in Barre, Vermont.
This annual event offers the Western Style Square dancer programs from Mainstream through C-1, along with rounds from Phase II through Phase IV.
Callers and Cuers who are associated with Vermont will be featured at their microphones during the afternoon of workshops and again at night for your dancing pleasure.

The Vermont Square and Round Dance Convention features: There is dry camping for RVs at the school and a list of accommodations (lodging, campgrounds, eateries) is available upon request.

  Building opens for setup    
9:30 am Registration Begins   $12 full day, $7 for part day
(Pre-registration $10 - full day only)
10:00 am - 12:00 noon Workshops, Intros, Teaches Four Halls
All levels of squares and rounds		  
12:00 noon - 1:00 pm Break with Luncheon
   (purchased separately)
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Afternoon Dancing
 Mainstream, Plus, Advanced & C1
Phases 2-5		 Refreshment table with water, coffee & punch open from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Dancers please bring fingerfood snacks
4:00 pm - 4:30 pm Special (Novelty?) Event
    
4:30 pm - 7:00 pm Dinner Break
   (on your own – local restaurants identified)
7:00 pm -10:00pm Evening Dancing
 All levels open Refreshment table with water, coffee & punch open from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm

10:00 pm -10:30 pm Door Prizes, Closing Announcements & Pass the Mike Mainstream
